Woodlands is situated on the outskirts of Oughterard Village, the gateway to Connemara, and about 20 km from Galway City which takes about 30 mins by car.

Galway is Irelands fastest growing city combining all the modern facilities with plenty of old world west of Ireland charm and is well worth a visit.

As you can see from the map, Lough Corrib is within walking distance about 1km. Woodlands is also within easy striking distance from the scenic Maam valley, Leenan and Clifden.
